The Media and Communications Department of the Luxembourg Ministry of State (SMC) maintains this portal with a view to promoting public access to information about news of the Luxembourg ICT sector.

We undertake our utmost to supply information that is true, accurate, and up to date.

Neither the Luxembourg State nor the SMC may be held liable in respect of any damage users may suffer, either directly or indirectly, in connection with browsing this website, or using its services, or in relation to the websites with which it is linked.

The SMC does not accept any liability for its services, which it provides for purely informative purposes. The aim is in fact to provide accurate, up-to-date information taken from various sources, but the SMC may not be able to avoid every risk of material error. Personal data communicated by users shall be processed in accordance with the Law of 2 August 2002 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, as amended.

The collected data can only result from the voluntary registration of your personal data, for example by subscribing to a newsletter, using the contact form or ordering a publication.

In accordance with the above mentioned Law on data protection, users shall have the right to access, modify or object to any data processing which concerns them. The personal data collected through the newsletter registration form, are processed in accordance with the Law of 2 August 2002 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

The CTIE (Centre des technologies de l'information de l'Etat) is in charge of the data management collected by the the subscription to the newsletter.

Data is only processed in order to allow you to receive the newsletter of the site. Il may also be processed for historical, statistical or scientific purposes.

The IP address of your computer is automatically recorded and stored by the system.

Your data, ie your name and email address, are provided solely for the newsletter distribution to a subcontractor of this website or Experian Cheetahmail established in Centre Europe Azur, 323 Boulevard du Président Hoover, 59000 Lille, France, which is subject to legal obligations under the Act.

Any user who joins the Digital Lëtzebuerg community on social networks is committed to renounce to all forms of discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, marital status or employment status.

Insults, racist, sexist or offensive do not belong on the social networks. They will be deleted and reported.

Monday to Friday between 08.00 and 18.00 hours, it will be responded to comments on social media. Outside these hours and during weekends and holidays, the administration pages is not assured continuously.

On social networks, Digital Lëtzebuerg communicates mainly in French and English. Wherever possible, it will answer any question / comment in the language of the user.
