To overcome the shortage of ICT specialists on the future labour market, the European Commission has launched a pilot project entitled “Digital Opportunity” in order to offer students and recent graduates across Europe a chance to take up internships lasting several months.

Launch of compliance support tool for new general data protection scheme

The new general data protection scheme which will come into force on 25 May 2018 already requires all stakeholders to comply as quickly as possible. To help them in the task of incorporating the provisions of the general data protection regulation in their internal policy, the national commission for data protection (Commission nationale pour la protection des données - CNPD), with support from Digital Luxembourg and in conjunction with the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), has developed a GDPR Compliance Support Tool.
